pre-exam holiday [clean-up]


1. I went to see a lovely Japanese animation film, Ponyo, that started on Friday evening and ended on Saturday morning. :O such a random viewing time. As always, films bring up a wide range of issues - in this case some of them might be, but not limited to: respect for elders (or can we view all adults as children pretending to be adults?), standard of female driving (crazy cliff-top driving!), human-induced environmental damage, dominion of animals/Ponyo-creature.
Drunk people getting angry at taxis.... hmmm

2. I think we have too many spoons in the household....


3. Replaced 4 slightly bulging capacitors and then we can record again on the TV hard drive recorder box! If only there were more easy problems like this...


4. Does anybody else have the same wear patterns? o.O

    But the socks to foot allocation is randomised every time I take them off!

    haha, definitely not the shoes... I manage to wear out the same area on every pair of shoes as well and all the fluff comes out!

    nah, not the socks... it happens to many of them at the same place. That's one way I can tell between my dad's socks and mine since he gets the 'sole' holes first. Except for ankle socks, but he doesn't wear those.

    Hmm, it would be a good idea to convert them into ankle socks.... less waste.

    YOUR DAD MOST LIKELY HAS A CALLUS which INVLOVES INCREASED PROLIFERATION OF KERATINOCYTES eventually creating a hardened area of skin due to repeated friction or pressure over the years!!!!!! yaaaaay. your Achilles Heel on the other hand, that's just plain weird :P
